We all have our bad moments, our ups and downs. Today I want to show you that you don’t have to be perfect.

I wanted to take you on a journey of my life, to show you the twist and turns that God has taken me out of.

Maybe some of you have these same issues or maybe not, but the one thing we have in common is that we are all human.

We all make our own mistakes and wrong choices along the way.

For me as a younger boy, I dealt with the issue of lust. Let’s face it most young men do.

My dad had an old stack of Playboy’s hid away that of course I found them and as any cureous boy will do I looked.

This lead to days of looking, months of looking, then to years almost every chance I had.

This spilled over into adult life, then in turn when I got married I still had this addiction.

Let me tell you or you may know this bleeds all over your marriage life.

You get a miss conception of what a woman really is. I feel almost like I looked at woman as an object instead of a God given gift.

This lead into hiding this problem, which lead into coping, which then turned to drinking.

You see were I am going its a snow ball effect. We’re I didn’t handle one issue lead to several more.

The drinking became the same way, drunk at home, drinking at work hiding and sneaking a drink when I could.

Glory to God though he has turned it all around. I am proud to say I haven’t looked at that filth in over a year. Also I haven’t been drunk or desire to be anymore.

I had to dedicate my life to the Lord, tell and share my secrets with him and with people I knew would help me overcome.

The point of me sharing this with you is to know you may not be perfect, but God has called you that.

Come to him, let him pull you from the fire. You to can overcome the struggle or addictions in your life.

If I could do it I know he has the same for you. He doesn’t love me anymore than anyone else.

Corinthians 10:13 Says he will not put more on us than we can handle.

Also he will always provide a way out.

So take hope just as I had to that he is a good caring God and we will overcome.

Thank you for joining in today, I know it is not by mistake you are here.
